Cumbria View Care often supports local events where we are able to meet both new and existing clients and answer the many questions that people have who are interested in our services or in a new and rewarding career in care, they are an informative and and rewarding experience for all.

Cumbria View Care-Supporting Charities
This year we have chosen to support the Anthony Nolan Trust.  On February 7th four members of the Cumbria View Care services team took part in a FRIGHT night at Thurnham Hall (an allegedly haunted 12th century building) near Lancaster. All monies raised were put to the Trust.

National Training Awards Cumbria View Care is proud to announce that it has won a National Training Award, working in Partnership with the Care Sector Alliance.   The 'Move On' progranmme helps to train staff with business literacy, enabling them to improve skills in both written and spoken communication, which is also of benefit to our Service Users.  

Dignity Care Champion Scheme
All Cumbria View Care Staff are pro-active in being Dignity Care Champions, putting dignity at the heart of your personal care.
Adult Social Care Conference Award  We are delighted  to announce that Mr. Andrew Bean, one of our Home Support Carers has won one of only 4 awards that were given out within the County for Dignity in Care .

A New Dedicated Training Facility Room for Home Care Service Providers was opened on 16th June 2009 by Lesley Gill the Workforce Development Officer for the Care Sector Alliance Cumbria .This wonderful new resources room contains dedicated laptops with Internet access, giving staff the opportunity to research for NVQ's on-line and later use the City & Guilds 'Proactive'e-portfolio service.
